Abstract
The project FIAKR (Pharmacological Intervention risk factors and Absolute Cardiovascular Risk) is to determine the prevalence and incidence of major risk factors for cardiovascular (CV) disease in a representative sample of the adult population in Mladá Boleslav and in those with high CV risk consistently apply all precautions. Examination after one and two years were performed on 827 persons, ie 77.4% of the original file.
The prevalence of smoking in the two-year monitoring was unchanged in men or women.
