Abstrakt
Chapter deals with an analysis of development and transformation of social policy in Czechoslovakia till 1989 as well as in the Czech and Slovak Republics after division of the former federation state. The analysis concerns social security system, education and health policies in the context of political development in both republics.
Authors approach to the development of social policy fields in a problematic way. They deal with legislation changes in the analysed social policy fields and their impacts on the life of inhabitants.
