Abstract

In 1995, the ICSP conducted unique opinion survey of young people aged 16-17 years. Surveyed were primarily those opinions, which could mean support one of extreme political movements.

Sixteen years have passed and social reality has significantly changed. As part of a grant provided by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic in the framework of Security Research Programme, the original research replicated and Answers contemporary teenagers (3,300 respondents) compared with their predecessors from the mid-nineties.

The aim of the research was to identify risk groups among youth, their characteristics and distribution in the population. The monograph also contains the results of two other research activities carried out under this project: expert opinion survey of police experts on extremism and analysis of Czech websites with extremist content.
