On the Use of the CM-SAF Cloud-data in the Czech Republic

Abstrakt

In this paper we present results of comprehensive study on the possibilities of cloudiness satellite data usage for the climatology purposes in the Czech Republic. Satellite Application Facility on Climate Monitoring data have been used for this study.

Problems of replacing traditional station data by CM-SAF data are discussed as well as possibilities of further applications of remote sensing cloudiness data in climatology.
