Knowledge and learning in globalization and their place in education policy of international organizations

Abstract

The chapter deals with globalization of education policy. It focuses on education policies of international political and economic organizations.

The chapter describes the ways in which these organizations interpret learning and knowledge in connection with a concept of knowledge society. Added is the comparison of particular interpretations of discussed international organizations.
