Abstract

The authors formulate their attitude to the problems of war and warfare throughout the existence of the civilization of the mankind. They are using the suggestions and concepts which underline the diversity of the forms of wars throughout the history.

The authors observe especially the civilizational links of warfare: the more is obvious contemporary discourse of not fighting, which can to the future, as the authors think, jeopardise even the essence of the European civilisation.
