Literary and theological features of the Former Prophets – the so-called Deuteronomistic History

Abstract

The chapter presents principal variants of the hypothesis of Deuteronomistic history and the contemporary debate on the “Deuteronomism” in the Former prophets. In the end, it asks which texts may today be considered “deuteronomistic”.
