Abstract
The article investigates concepts of tradition in three leading theologians of the twentieth century, the Russian Orthodox George Florovsky, the Protestant Paul Tillich and the Roman Catholic Yves Congar. It sshows how in their concepts utopia meets the eschatological critique.
