This contribution aims to analyze perception of the concept of adulthood by adolescents with mental retardation growing up in an environment of children's homes. These people define adulthood in a different manner.
This contribution is a part of more comprehensive study aimed not only at perception of adulthood, which analyzes answers of 9 respondents from children's homes in the context of duration of their stay in the institute and respondent´s age. Answers were recorded during group interviews.
