Abstract
The chapter deals with historical development in critical theory of society - it traces the adaptation of this conception of history in the Czech academia. Both according to the translations, and to original Czech writings inspired by critical theory, it depicts main motives of the conception history, inspired by critical theory, in the Czech case.
