Abstract
Atheroscleros is the very frequent term among the general public in recent years. The increasing incidence and prevalence is caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, but also the increase in life expectancy, more individuals will live to clinical manifestations of atherosclerosis.
Atherosclerosis is the basis of many diseases - coronary heart disease, ischemic stroke and peripheral arterial disease.
