Abstract
Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) is a clonal disorder of hematopoietic tissue. It includes a heterogeneous group of diseases characterized by high discrepancy between rich and hematopoietic peripheral pancytopenia as a result of ineffective hemopoiesis with clinical manifestations of anemia, infection and bleeding.
