Continuous glucose monitoring as a tool for the detection nocturnal hypoglycemias

Abstract

The case report describes a 60-years-old patient with the type 1 diabetes mellitus and excellent metabolic control, who performs the regular self-monitoringof glycemia. In this case, the continuous glucose monitoring contributed to the diagnosis of repeated and unrecognized nocturnal hypoglycemias that manifested as morning headaches.
