Abstract
Laboratory diagnostics in stomatology allows to state a clinical diagnosis, also to monitor the course of diseases, treatment effect and to some degree to determine the prognosis of the disease. From general perspecive laboratory diagnostics include hematological, biochemical, immunological and microbiological examinations.
Indication and selection of laboratory examinations should be pointed and depends on the disease and its clinical course.
