Abstract
Doppler examination of the kidneys in neonates does not fall within the group of basic and routine ultrasound examinations. Examination has a certain characteristics, whether in access to these small patients and differences in hemodynamics in renal vascular system at this age.
Also, a group of the most common pathologies of the vascular system of the kidneys in neonates is quite different from the pathology of older children and adults. In the article, I would like to pay attention to the specific approaches to neonatal patients and to the basic differences in renal hemodynamics in newborns.
