How thoroughly did grammar school pupils know their Bible? The use of biblical texts in school tuition in the Czech lands from the 16th to the 18th century

Abstract

The study deals with the usage of biblical texts in teaching at preuniversitary schools of various types in the Czech lands in the early modern period. It follows bible knowledge of pupils of these schools as well.
