Abstract

Molecular Pathology is the branch of science dealing with the study of the molecular mechanisms of development and progression of cancer and non-cancer diseases using methods of molecular biology. This approach allows the good to the very beginnings of the disease gene to their level.

It is expected that just the help of molecular pathology will be able to explain the causes of certain diseases , which yet well understood. Current molecular pathology uses molecular methods to identify nucleic acid sequences responsible for the emergence of various diseases , the diagnosis of infectious diseases , the accurate diagnosis and classification of cancer , to determine prognosis and monitoring therapy in patients with tumors for testing drug sensitivity and resistance of tumor and infectious diseases , to determine the relatedness of transplantation , but also for paternity testing or for purposes of forensic medicine.
