The study is mostly dedicated to the critical discussion on Eucharistic theology of Taborites in the Replica against Mikuláš Biskupec written by Petr Chelčický. One of the most important sources for Chelčický's interpretation of Taborite teaching on the presence of Christ in the eucharistic gifts and on the spiritual reception of eucharist were theological writings of Jan Němec of Žatec. Žatecký's concept of four modi essendi of Christ is particularly discussed in its relation to a theology presented in the chiliastic articles (1419-1420).
One of its significant features was an abolition of the eschatological bound between present bodily existence and eternal life. Petr Chelčický recognized in this chiliastic abolition the source of Taborite teaching on spiritual reception of eucharist.
