Abstract
The article is devoted to development of bead's decor in folk dress. Main features of bead's decor are considered from second part of 19th to beginning of 20th centuries.
Analysis of local differences and resemblances in decor of traditional dress in different regions of Czech and Slovak is performed. Beads were an integral part of folk dress in these regions.
However, bead's decor was significantly different in costumes despite of closeness of cultural traditions. Traditional bead's decor is considered on a basis of museum's collections study.
