An Outline of Problems Met When Studying Romisms. The Romisms to Be Found in Non-Standard Forms of Spanish and Other European Languages

Abstract

The article deals with the penetration of the loanwords from Romani into non-standard variants of Spanish and other chosen European languages. It refers to the features that these loanwords have in common, especially the similar way of their integration (the same lexical categories, characteristics of grammar) and the same semantic fields.

Some attention is dedicated to a possible semantic modification of these loanwords.
