Abstract

The article introduces the concept of a created methodology of pupils' learning phonetic aspects of the Russian language at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The attention is paid to the role of the phonetic aspect of a language in communication-based teaching, to the theoretical bases and the main principles of this methodology.

The aim is to show alternative ways and means that can help in the formation of phonetic literacy of Czech pupils in the Russian language.
