Abstract
Rudolf Weissenstein (1910-1992) was the only official photographer at the proclamation of the State of Israel in May 1948. He did not take photos just politics but he interested in building a new State Israel.
In addition to his photographs of urban landscapes and scenery, there are also socially or very exotically decorated frames. Archive Rudi Weissenstein, which is currently digitized, has a total of more than a quarter of a million slides.
