Weathering of mine wastes after historical silver mining in the Jáchymov ore district (Czech Republic) and migration of uranium

Abstract

Weathering of 450 year old mine wastes were studied. The most active material up to 3.8 kBq/kg Ra-226 form top of the dump.

Uranium is accumulated under dump.
