Communication Competences and Reading Skills of the Users of Cochlear Implant

Abstract

The paper focuses on the problems of schooling and education of students with the Nucleus Cochlear Implant in the Czech Republic. It features analysed of the links between the levels of communication skills and school inclusion of cochlear implant users.

The complex situation in 2010, the study analyses the state of understanding of reading of pupils with cochlear implants in primary schools.
