Guidelines for assessment of external costs from transport

Abstract

The guidelines set out principles and means for economic evaluation of externalities caused by main transport modes. The guidelines define detailed procedures for quantification of external costs from emissions of local air pollutants, noise, greenhouse gases and external costs of congestion and traffic accidents.
