Abstract
The study is focused on the connections of historian and archivist Karel Kazbunda (1888-1982) to Charles University. He graduated in the field of history at its Faculty of Arts, where he later became associated professor.
In 1945-1948 he belonged to the organizers of 600th anniversary of his alma mater. Soon after comunist coup in 1948 he retired, but his connections to university archive in 1960's enabled to publish one of his works of life - a monograph on the chair of history at Charles University.
