Abstract
An actually unregistered variety of the marginal legend of the Prague grossus struck under Wenceslas II is presented in the article. It is the variety of the specimen listed by Smolík under no. 2 where all horizontal beams of ‘A’ letters and diagonal beams of ‘N’ letters are missing in the obverse marginal legends.
Also historical genesis and appearance of these varieties in lettering in the case of the grossi struck under Wenceslas II are briefly discussed here.
