Abstract

39 year-old woman came to pravite plastic surgeon practice to reshape small wrinkle in the glabela. Surgeon decided for aplication of crosslinked hyaluronic acid with dextranomer.

Immediately after injection she got extreme pain in the forehaed and blue color spot and blisters appeared on forehead. In 3 days developed deep necrosis in glabela and forehead region.

She was admited to our department and treated non surgically with topic agents. Firstly we used topic agent to release necrosis, than topic agents for releasing detritus and after that foamy topic agent to iniciate granulation and epitelization.

Wound was closed by the scar which was acceptable in upper half of forehead. The rest of scar was under the skin niveau about 1 – 1,5 mm, wide 4-5 mm.

The scar was resected and sutured. After successful healing sorrounding tissues were atrophic and scar had white apperance.

We decided for microlipografting. 1 year after microlipografting we achieved outstanding results.
