The Concept of ‘Non-Possession’ in the Hesychasm of Nil Sorsky and in Mother Maria Skobtsova

Abstract

The paper presented the concept of non-possession in hesychasm and in Mother Maria Skobtsova as a way of reflecting on the call of the church to be poor, while at the same time it expanded the notion of poverty beyond its material expression.
