Abstrakt
From its beginnings, the Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs-Conseils (FIDIC) has led the industry by providing commentary, explanations and sample forms to its users. This article pays particular attention to the FIDIC forms, FIDIC influence in the construction industry, networking activities, membership and further connected matters.
FIDIC forms provide the user with a complete toolbox of documents. Their popularity and reliability has been proven by their world-wide application in construction projects.
FIDIC is often perceived as only an organisation which provides sample forms of construction contracts. This article however, explores FIDIC as a much broader joining force in the contemporary construction world.
