Abstract
Chapter informs about a specific method of work with people with hard impairments of communication and contact. The author Garry Prouty belongs to the humanistic and phenomenological tradition in psychology and psychiatry.
The principle of the method is building the contact through reflection of body, words and emotions of the client. Through the perception and contact with his own person the client can enter the contact with his surroundings and other people.
The method was accepted as a tool of person centered individual planning in work with severely impaired people.
