Social Change and the Logic of Situation (Continuity and Discontinuity, Universality and Particularity in Social Change)

Abstract

The chapter presents the problematic of social change as the outcome of a certain historical (civilizational) situation. As a example of historical sociological analysis of historical change can be considered the interpretation of the first years of Czechoslovakian transformation after 1989.
