Evaluation of Sericin as a Fetal Bovine Serum-Replacing Cryoprotectant During Freezing of Human Mesenchymal Stromal Cells and Human Osteoblast-Like Cells

Abstrakt

The replacement of FBS and DMSO in freezing medium of human cells was evaluated and sericin as the replacing agent was tested. It was found that sericin may substitute for FBS in primary MSC but cannot substitute for DMSO.
