Natural corrosin of old glass coloured with uranium compounds

Abstrakt

The study is focused on corrosion of old potash glass from three extinguished glassworks in Czech Republic. Glases contain 0.088 - 0.33 wt % U.

The total leaching of alkalies a partial redistribution of uranium was found.
