Carlsbad mineral water origin in context of Post-Variscan development in Central Europe

Abstrakt

The most important constituents (sulphates, chlorides and sodium) of mineral waters of the Carlsbad type (West Bohemia, Czech Republic) are of exogeneous origin from closed superficial basins, existing under previous arid climatic periods.
