Geophysical and atmogeochemical methods in studying old LNAPL contamination of porous aquifers

Abstract

The existence of the low resistivity zone below the LNAPL plume is the only chance for indirect estimate of the contaminated zone by geoelectrical methods. Cone penetration test combined with logging provide the direct proof of LNAPL plume.
