Postnatal development of sensory-motor neurons in the rat heart atria

Abstrakt

The developmental pattern and distribution of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), a neurotransmitter of sensory-motor neurons in the rat heart atria, have been studied. CGRP inervation is present at birth and increases up to the age of 85 days.
