Effect of long-term administration of cholesterol diet in apolipoprotein E knock out mice

Abstract

Stereological analysis of aorta of apoE KO mice proved that in atherosclerotic lesions were significantly more developed in experimental group fed with 2% cholesterol diet for five months than in another group fed for two months.
