Alpha-Naphthoflavone acts as activator and reversibile or irreversible inhibitor of rabbit microsomal CYP3A6

Abstrakt
Alpha-naphthoflavone is a known substrate, inhibitor and activator of several cytochromes P450 mainly CYP 3A6. We show that CYP 3A enzymes possess an active center accomodating two or three substrates simultaneously.
