Abstract
Carcinogenic nitrosamines (NMA and NDMA) are effectively metabolized by both microsomal cytochrome P450 samples induced by phenobarbital, ethanol and rifampicin, and purified reconstituted enzymes CYP 1A, 2B, 2E and 3A.
