Towards the explanation of the carcinogenicity of 2-nitroanisole and o-anisidine, carcinogens with unknown mechanism

Abstract

In the study we explain carcinogenicity of 2-nitroanisole and 2-anisidine. The results indicate that both compounds are genotoxic carcinogens binding covalently to DNA after enzymatic activation.
