Metabolism of carcinogenic 2-nitroanisole by cytochromes P450 a nd reductases

Abstract

Oxidation of 2-nitroanisole by cytochrome P450 seems to be a detoxication pathway, while reductive activation of 2-nitroanisole led to formation of DNA adducts.
