Interspecies differences in metabolism of carcinogenic azodye 1-phenylazo-2-hydroxynaphthalene (Sudan I) in vitro

Abstract

Sudan I is oxidized by hepatic microsomes from rats, rabbits, minipigs and human. Our results are discussed because of eventual risk to human.
