Abstract
We investigated occurence of intermedin in the heart and autonomic ganglia. IMD-immunoreactivity was observed in neuronal perikarya of cardiac intrinsic ganglia, cardiomyocytes, smooth muscle cells of coronary arteries, and endothelial cells.
