Detection of extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBL) and AmpC type beta-lactamases in enterobacteria

Abstract

WSBL and AmpC type beta-lactamases are a serious problem in a treatment of infections caused by their producers. This methodological article is focused on an identification of ESBL - and AmpC production in clinical microbiology laboratories.
