Aortic stenosis severity is not a risk factor of poststenotic dilatation of the ascending aorta

Abstrakt

An analysis of echocardiographic exam in 296 patients with aortic stenosis. Ascending aortic dimensions were associated with the severity of aortic regurgitation and presence of bicuspid aortic valve, but not with the severity of stenosis.
