Low-temperature synthesis of carbon nanostructures from fluorinated hydrocarbons

Abstract

Formation of carbon nanostructures in the reaction of halogenated hydrocarbons with alkalimetal amalgams and alkali-metal dispersions as well as kinetics of carbon layer growth on the surface of amalgam exposed to vapours of fluorocarbon.
