Parathyroid hormone and vitamin D levels are independently associated with calcific aortic stenosis

Abstrakt

Parathormone (PTH) and vitamin D are the principal calcium pool regulators. Higher serum PTH with lower vitamin D levels were independently associated with calcific aortic stenosis in patients with preserved renal function.
