Early carotid endarterectomy for residual critical carotid artery stenosis after intravenous trombolysis

Abstract

The study demonstrates, that early carotid endarterectomy can be safely performed in the selected group of patients with critical residual carotid artery stenosis after intravenous trombolysis for acute ischemic stroke.
