Abstract
The aim of thesis was to map and find out what at this moment have a nurses with care older people with cognitive impairment experience, what are their attitudes to a comprehensive assessment of the status of an elderly person, the preferred method of applying and influencing the practice of cognitive disorders with a focus on basic nursing care and family support .
